The spouse reunification law has existed since August 28, 2007 (Paragraph 30 of the Residence Act).
Without proof of basic German language skills, there is no long-term visa for Germany for fiancées and spouses. Even Thais can obtain the visa they need by completing an A1 German language course.

Structured & Effective Learning
Every A1 course starts with the alphabet, progressing to basic German grammar and vocabulary within the first few days.
This course is taught in Thai, to give Thai students around the world the possibility to learn German first hand through their native language.
Students with no prior knowledge of German reading or writing are strongly encouraged to take the literacy course before starting A1-1. This makes it easier to follow lessons and keep pace with the class.
All students progress together, starting and completing their course modules at the same pace. If a school holiday occurs during the course, the schedule will be extended to ensure everyone has ample time to complete their learning journey.

Each module is a standalone course and can be completed at any time, but must be taken in order.

We recommend that tuition fees be paid directly to the school, as experience shows that payments sent via students’ partners are often used for other purposes (family support, debt repayment, etc.) rather than course fees.
