Thai grammar is relatively simple and straightforward. Unlike German or other European languages, there are no conjugations, no articles (der, die, das), and only simplified forms of past, present, and future tenses.
However, Thai is a tonal language, which means that the same word can have up to five different meanings depending on the tone in which it is pronounced. This makes pronunciation and listening skills particularly important.
For this reason, we strongly recommend learning Thai with an experienced teacher. Teaching yourself Thai through self-study alone can be extremely difficult.
People with a good musical ear often find learning Thai easier, as they are more sensitive to tone differences. Those who are less musically inclined can still master Thai with dedicated practice and guidance from a skilled instructor.
Students who complete at least 120 hours of study qualify for a Certificate from the Ministry of Education in Thailand – recognizing their Thai language learning progress. This certificate can be beneficial for both personal and professional purposes.
The Online Thai Group Course is available at competitive rates – with flexible options depending on the number of hours chosen.
